In a recent statement issued by the Saudi government, it said that Saudi Arabia supports Lebanon, while on the other hand it called for the protection of the “independence and territorial integrity” of Lebanon.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia said that they were watching the recent events in Lebanon and were “concerned” even though Saudi Arabia did not talk about the killing of the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah.
They also called on the international community to work to protect the security of the region and prevent actions that could lead to humanitarian situations.
