Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the West on Wednesday that Russia could use nuclear weapons if attacked by conventional missiles.
Putin also said if any government attack Russia using nuclear ,that Moscow will consider it as a continuous attack.
Putin, who opened the meeting of the Russian Security Council, said that his government is responding to the changes in the nuclear field.
Russia has been attacking neighboring Ukraine for two and a half years now. The war has soured relations between Russia and the West, raising fears of a possible use of weapons against each other.
