The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu said that progress has been made in the ongoing talks to release the Israeli prisoners held in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu said that he will not stop working until the people are returned to their homes.
Netanyahu also said that he wants to sign new peace agreements with the Arab countries, one similar to the Abraham agreement in 2020 that the United States brokered between Israel and several Arab countries.
Netanyahu said that moderate Arab countries see Israel as a regional power and potential ally and he wants to take full advantage of it.
There are still around 100 hostages in Gaza, although at least a third are believed to have been killed in the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza.
