The Council of Ministers, chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamze Abdi Barre, was presented with various reports related to security, the national change plan and the rate of sales tax which since its inception has made high- wide open.
The council reported on the deployment of the National Army to the Raskamboni area of Jubbaland, it heard from the Ministry of Internal Security, which pointed out that the purpose of the deployment of the army is to take over the security of the areas where the ATMIS forces have left, to ensure the security of those sites.
Also, the Ministry of Planning, Investment and Economic Development, gave the council a report on the progress of the National Transformation Plan (NTP) 2025-2029, whose preparation has been going on for almost a year, and is now in the final stage, which will be put into effect. 2025, and will replace the National Development Plan (NDP-9).
