The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, said that the government has approved agreements and laws to strengthen the power of government agencies, especially in the areas of economic development in the country.
The Prime Minister, who spoke about the inauguration ceremony of the new Minister of Energy and Minerals, Mr. Dahir Shire Mohamed and the former Minister, Mr. Abdirisaq Omar Mohamed, noted that the Ministry is sitting on the completion of the plans of the Danish Government regarding the production of oil.
“We want this ministry to pave the way for the Somali people to have a proper and sustainable economic direction, since our country has been in ruins for a long time, and the important infrastructures that the country had were gone.”said Prime Minister Hamsa.
Prime Minister Hamsa thanked the former Minister of the Ministry for his responsible service to the nation during his tenure, and prayed to God to make the difficult work ahead of him easier.
