Mogadishu, 13 May 2025 – The President of SSC-Khaatumo State, Mr. Cabdiqaadir Axmed Aw-Cali, accompanied by members of his Cabinet, held a high-level meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Somalia, H.E. Alper Aktaș.
At the outset, the President expressed his appreciation to the Ambassador and the Government of Turkey for the development projects implemented by Turkish agencies in SSC-Khaatumo, particularly those focused on water access and infrastructure.
The meeting further focused on enhancing cooperation between Turkey and Somalia, with specific discussions on how SSC-Khaatumo State can benefit from Turkish-supported development programs—especially in the areas of security, governance, education, and healthcare.
President Cabdiqaadir concluded by extending his sincere thanks for the warm hospitality extended by the Ambassador and the Embassy of Turkey in Mogadishu.
