Baydhabo – The President of South West State, H.E. Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed (Laftagareen), along with a delegation he led, has officially returned to Baydhabo, the capital of Bay region, after participating in the National Consultative Council (NCC) meeting held in Mogadishu.
The President and his delegation were warmly received at Dr. Shaati-Gaduud Airport by the Acting Speaker of the Regional Parliament and First Deputy Speaker, Hon. Mohamed Nur Mohamed Macalin, alongside several ministers, members of parliament, security officials, and representatives from various segments of society.
The NCC meeting in Mogadishu focused on critical national matters including the electoral process, security cooperation, and political consensus between the Federal Government and Federal Member States.
President Laftagareen is expected to brief the people of South West State on the outcomes of the meeting and the role his administration played during the discussions.
