Mogadishu – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has stated that his government’s foreign policy is built on fostering genuine cooperation with any party that has good intentions toward Somalia.
The President emphasized that this policy is grounded in the principles of peace, mutual respect, and shared interests, aiming to strengthen international relations and support the country’s efforts in security, economic development, and reconstruction.
“Our government is ready to work with anyone who has Somalia’s best interest at heart, while safeguarding the sovereignty of our nation and the well-being of the Somali people,” said President Hassan Sheikh.
His remarks come at a time when Somalia is navigating a significant diplomatic phase, as it seeks to build stronger international ties to garner full support for national development.
