The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who participated in the German-African Investment Conference, presented the investment opportunities in his country and the government’s efforts for development and stability.
The President noted the importance of international cooperation as a basis for economic growth, job creation, dealing with climate change and insecurity, praising the conference that focused on creating a system that attracts investors.
The President of the Republic noted that Somalia has succeeded in economic transformation plans and the preparation of laws to protect investors, with the aim of strengthening the role of the private sector in the development of the economy.
President Hassan Sheikh together with the Minister of Planning and Investment of the Federal Government of Somalia Mr. Mohamud Abdirahman pointed out that Somalia is welcoming international investors, and at the same time they have people who are active and creative in business.
