President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud today to appear infront of the two houses of the Somali parliament today he will give a speech about his vote and report on the political and security situation in the country , according to preliminary reports, President Hassan will ask the parliamentarians not to close the session, and to approve the election laws and the committee that will be appointed.
The parliamentary session which was intended to be close in six months but the president is demanding that the parliament’s work be extended for a month to 45 days but it is not known whether the representatives of the two chambers will accept the president’s request or not.
This issue comes at a time when the meeting of the National Transportation Council in Mogadishu was recently concluded, although the heads of Jubaland and Puntland administrations were absent.
