Puntland President Sacid Deni has order the ship that was seized yesterday at the coast of Bareeda district in the Ras-Asayr region transfer to Bosaso port as confirmed by the authorities of the Ras-Asayr region.
The ship, named Sea World, which flies the flag of the Comoros Islands, sailed from Turkey and was carrying a cargo of weapons, including explosives and emergency vehicles for the Somali Federal Government forces, which were to be unloaded in Mogadishu.
It was scheduled to arrive at the port of Mogadishu on July 21 to unload its cargo.
The Federal Government of Somalia have not yet commented on the status of the cargo ship that is said to be carrying weapons.
