Mogadishu – An official letter issued from the office of the Acting Speaker of the House of the People, who also serves as the Second Deputy Speaker, has announced the reinstatement of a number of Members of Parliament who were recently suspended from attending parliamentary sessions.
This decision follows preliminary talks between the parliamentary leadership and opposition MPs, aimed at resolving ongoing political disputes within the House.
The letter emphasized that the reinstatement of the MPs is a step toward enhancing cooperation and unity among members of parliament, with the expectation that all parties will work collectively in the interest of the nation.
