NATO and Ukraine are expected to hold an emergency meeting next Tuesday, after Russia tested a heavy missile on Thursday in the city of Dnipro in the center of Ukraine.

In a speech aired on Russian television, President Vladimir Putin warned the West that the Oreshnik medium-range missiles were retaliation by Moscow against the Kyiv government firing long-range missiles made by the United States and the United Kingdom into Russia.

After 33 months of the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the war has now entered the phase of separation, according to Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

A session of the Ukrainian parliament was canceled yesterday due to security reasons related to Russian missiles.

Ukrainian military officials said the missile tested in Dnipro reached high speeds and had six warheads capable of carrying nuclear weapons, each of which released six projectiles.

Speaking to military officials on Friday, Putin said that they will begin production of the new weapons that Ukraine tested in Oreshnik. He also said that they will continue to test the rockets and will launch them where they see danger
