The governor of Banadir and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein, removed the governors of Dharkeenley and Waabari districts, Mahmoud Haji Ali and Mohamed Sayid Ali.
While he appointed new governors, Omar Meyre Macow for Dharkeenley and Hussein Hassan Mahmoud for waaberi.
The governor who was also appointed some few weeks ago urged the new governors to to prioritize the development of the districts , reconciliation, beautification, and the expansion of basic services, all of which are priorities for the government.
