A number of Former Leaders and opposition leaders are expected to arrived in Mogadishu today and the rest of this week .
Among them are former Prime Ministers Hassan Ali Khayre and Omar Abdirashid who are arriving in Mogadishu today from Nairobi, while former Speaker of Parliament Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden is flying in from Turkey.
On Sunday and Monday, former Prime Minister Eng. Mohamed Hussein Rooble, former Prime Minister Saacid Shirdoon, MP Abdiqadir Osoble and former Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Mursal, all of whom are currently in Nairobi, will also arrive in Mogadishu.
As planned, they will hold meetings lasting several days to discuss a timely and inclusive election.
This move comes at a time when the country is facing complex political situations, with diplomatic meetings and political mobilizations taking place continuously inside and outside the country.
