Police in Goldogob district, Mudug region, have arrested Farah Hassan Adan, who is accused of killing his wife, ZamZam Mohamed Hashi, after a family dispute.
The murder took place in the town of Goldogob which made it easy for the police to arrest the suspect, according to Mudug Regional Police Command.
In a statement from the command say that the Mudug regional police force, especially the Goldogob district police station, has arrested the suspect Farah Hassan Adan, who is accused of killing the late ZamZam Mohamed Hashi, his wife and will be brought before the court.
The deceased , ZamZam Mohamed Hashi was a mother of seven children ,was confirmed to have been shot dead by her husband which shocked the local community.
Such acts of violence within families have become increasingly common in Mudug , raising serious concerns among community members and local authorities.
