Kenyan forces open fire on IFO refugee camp, at an aid distribution for Eid al-Adha festival.

At least four refugees were injured after police officers guarding an aid distribution center opened fire during an aid distribution center for the Eid al-Adha holiday, where an estimated 700 people had gathered , at Ifo refugee camp, Dadaab, Garissa county.

The Police said the crowd was far larger than planned and also the people who had gathered at the site threatened to attack the security forces guarding the facility, prompting the police to open fire to disperse the crowd, security officials said.

The four injured Somalis were taken to the Dadaab Red Cross Hospital before being transferred to the Garissa County Referral Hospital for further treatment.
