Kenya government has lifted off Visa entry to all African countries expect Somalia and Libya , person who wants to enter Kenya does not currently need an ETA (electronic consent) or form, only has to come to the country.
As not expected Somalia have been excluded from the countries benefiting from this move, although Somalia is a neighboring country in Kenya, and has a strong trade, economic and strategic relationship.
It is not known the reason of kenya excluding Somalia as many believes Kenya’s decision is related to security issues and the political situation in Somalia, particularly the border between the two countries that have often occurred in insecurity.
The Kenyan government has not yet publicly stated the official reason for Somalia’s withdrawal, but emerging reports indicate that immigration and security issues play a major role in this regard.
Somali people and businessmen expressed concern, saying that this move could affect the flow and trade of the two countries.
