The Jubaland Electoral Commission has officially announced the schedule and procedure for the Jubaland Parliamentary and Presidential elections last night.
The committee said that on November 18 to 19, the list of new members of the Jubaland Parliament will be drawn up, while on the 21st of this month, the election of the Jubaland Parliament will be held.
Also from the 21st to the 23rd of this month, the committee also said that the examination of the candidates for the position of the President of Jubaland will be held, while the election of the President will be held on the 25th of November, according to the schedule issued by the committee.
On the other hand, the committee announced the procedures and requirements for the selection of members of Parliament and the Jubaland Presidential election, detailing the process of entering the election.
There is a serious tension between the leaders of the federal government and the president of Jubbaland as a result of this election, and it is possible that this tension will lead to violence.
