Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirmed that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar has passed away.
He was not killed in a planned operation carried out by Israeli special forces, but according to the IDF, it had a chance encounter with Israeli forces in Rafah, south of Gaza.
Yahya Sinwar was the new elected Hamas leader after the death of Ismail Haniiye who was murdered in Iran by Israeli in August.
Yahya Sinwar was also the most wanted man by Israeli because they believed he was the master mind behind the Hamas attack in Israeli on 7th October last year .
The president of the US Joe Biden who reacted to Sinwar death said it is a good news to America and also israeli which he said it is a opportunity to stop the war in Gaza.
Also the President of France said that the death of Sinwar is a change and a major victory for Israel.
However , Hamas has still not confirmed about the news of their leader who is claimed to have been killed by Israeli military.
