Israeli last night argeted parts of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, with heavy airstrikes, after it announced on Sunday that it will target the financial wing of Hezbollah.
Large explosions caused by artillery fired were heard in Beirut and other places which first started in the southern area of the capital and then last night buildings were bombed in other parts of Beirut.
Hundreds of people from Beirut fled their homes last night after the warning from Israel that they would start airstrikes. People fled from the south, central and areas near the international airport.
Videos broadcast by the AP news agency showed that explosions were targeted near the only airport in Lebanon .
Israel said that this new attack is targeting the head of the finance department of Hizbullah Al-Qard al-Hassan.
