Iran sends 2 satellites to Russia for rocket launch

Iran has delivered two locally made satellites into space at once to Russia which were sent from within the territory of Russia,according to the news agency Tasnim on Saturday.

The two satellites are: Kowsar, a satellite capable of taking pictures of the Earth, is also helping Iran in its various research missions, while another satellite, Hodhod, is helping Iran establish its own communications system which they can use to send it every where.

Also it is said that the space cooperation between Russia and Iran has caused concern in the United States, due to the development of satellite systems that increases the power of the two countries that the Unite State see them as it enermy.

Russia sent Iranian satellites into orbit in February and in 2022, when US officials voiced concern over space cooperation between Russia and Iran, fearing the satellite will not only help Russia in Ukraine but also help Iran monitor potential military targets in Israel and the wider Middle East.
