The head of information for Hezbollah, Mohamed Afif, was killed in an attack by Israel in the center of Beirut, as confirmed by Hezbollah in Lebanon.
An aerial attack that killed this man was carried out on the headquarters of the Baath party in a densely populated area called Ras al-Naba. The bombing took place on Sunday, according to the Lebanese news agency.
The country’s health ministry said four people were killed, but did not name them.
Afif was last seen on Monday, when he held a press conference in the southern outskirts of Beirut where the group is strong. Hezbollah confirmed the death last night, a few hours after it was first reported.
