Helicopter with 3 on board crashed in Russia’s Far East

A Robinson R66 helicopter with three people on board has crashed in the Zeya  district of Russia’s Amur Oblast.

The  helicopter crash killed all three on board, state media reported early Tuesday.

The press service of Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry in the region, the state news agency Tass initially reported that search and rescue efforts were underway after a Robinson R66 helicopter went missing following an unregistered flight a day earlier.

Later, Russian media reported that rescue workers had found the pilot and two passengers killed in the helicopter crash in the Zeya district of Russia’s Amur Oblast.
