Reports from Hiran region indicate that this morning heavy fighting is ongoing in Gumare area on the outskirts of Moqokori district, between local forces and Al-Shabaab militants after the Somali National Army attacked militia members who were reportedly gathering in the Gumare area, eventually leading to heavy fighting.
There have been casualties on both sides of the conflict in the area, although the exact number of casualties has not been officially confirmed.
Somali government , Hiiraan and Hirshabelle have not yet talked about the fight.
