Somalia federal government of Ministers are expected to re-appoint the Commander of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yusuf Raagge.
Odowa was removed from this position a year ago, recalling that during his tenure as Commander, the Armed Forces achieved great success in the operations against terrorism that began at the end of 2022, many areas were liberated.
His return to the to the armed force Command means that the government will once again resume operations against terrorism.
It was a week ago when Brigadier General Sahl Abdullahi Omar, also known as Khalid, was appointed as the Commander of the Infantry.
