The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, received the Italian Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Pier Mario Daccò Coppi.
The President and the Ambassador discussed the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries, the development of economic cooperation, social services, security support, and reconstruction programs in the country.
The President thanked the Italian Government for its important role in supporting Somalia, urging the continuation of projects to improve the lives of the Somali people.
