Ethiopian Airlines is set to construct the largest airport in Africa near the city of Bishoftu in Ethiopia.
The national carrier recently signed a $7.8 billion funding agreement with the African Development Bank Group to finance the mega project.
The new airport hub will feature 4 runways, the capacity to handle 100 million passengers annually, and parking space for 270 aircraft.
The project is expected to be completed by the year 2029.
