Hezbollah in Lebanon said that a number of rockets attacked a military base in the northern part of Israel, a day after an Israeli airstrike hit the capital Beirut, killing at least 37 people. There is Ibrahim Aqeel, who was a senior commander in the highest military wing of Hizbullah.
It is not clear whether the missiles that Hezbollah attacked Israel hit their target. Israel’s emergency department said that a man in a village in the area of the attack suffered minor injuries.
Israeli media reported that rockets fired from Lebanon intercepted and destroyed anti-missile weapons near the city of Haifa.
Hezbollah said it hit Israel with dozens of missiles, including Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles, which the group said it had not used before.
A total of 39 people were killed and 3,000 others were injured in attacks that included airstrikes and explosions that used communication devices bought by Hizbullah from abroad in Lebanon.
