The Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, who is in danger of being removed from office after a dispute erupted between him and the President of Kenya, William Ruto, issued a request and an apology.
On Sunday at a church in the Karen neighborhood of Nairobi, Rigathi submitted a request to President Ruto saying that he does not know what he has done wrong, but he wants to be given another chance to serve his Kenyan people.
He also apologized to Kenyan MPs and Kenyans who want him to be removed from office, while the people are participating in forums to express their opinion.
Already a motion was submitted to the Kenyan parliament to impeach the Deputy President which the commite accepted and is waiting for a vote to be taken in the coming days, if the elder’s request does not change the situation.
Members of the President office submitted the motion accusing him of inciting racial , corruption ,communal hatred and weakening the government.
