The mayor of Graz, Austria, Elke Kahr, has now confirmed that 10 people have died in a shooting that took place this morning. A school student is among the dead, and several injuries have also been reported.
Austrian media are reporting that up to 30 people have been hospitalized after a gunman opened fire over the fence of a high school in the city of Graz this morning.
This number comes as police say that some of the injured are in critical condition.
Rescue operations and response to the attack are still ongoing.
