Britain announced an emergency meeting of European countries to discuss the crisis in Ukraine.

An emergency conference for Europe to discuss the crisis in Ukraine and finding a solution to the war between Russia and Ukraine is scheduled to open this Sunday in London.

The leaders of France, Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Spain, Turkey, Finland, Sweden, the Czech Republic and Romania will participate in this meeting, as well as the Secretary General of the NATO Headquarters and the heads of the Commission and the Council of Europe.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in London on Saturday, after a difficult day in Washington on Friday, where he met with President Trump.

Zelenskyy and Trump appeared on the world’s screens, exchanging harsh words that dealt with the end of the war in Ukraine and the way to go through a ceasefire agreement, as well as the signing of a mining agreement that was supposed to be signed between the United States and Ukraine.

This conference which is organized by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Europe will focus on the best way to end the war in Ukraine and how Europe can defend itself, without asking the United States for help.

Turkey is expected to present a plan to reconcile Ukraine and Russia. Ankara has already offered to extend a peace platform to reconcile the neighboring countries.
