President Ahmed Madobe won the office of President of Jubaland state for the third time which was held early today.
The Jubaland Electoral Commission, which officially announced the results of the Jubaland presidential election held this morning in Kismayo, said that Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe) was re-elected for the third time.
President Ahmed Madobe won 55 votes while the candidates who came after him got 16 votes and 4 votes according to the Jubaland Electoral Commission which announced the results of the voting.
The re-elected president, Ahmed Madobe, who made a brief speech at the election hall, thanked the elected members of parliament and promised to continue his work.
The Federal Government which was out of the Jubbaland elections, which has an impact on the elections, and has already said that it will not recognize the administration from there, blaming President Ahmed Madobe.
