An Antonov An-24 passenger plane carrying nearly 50 people crashed in Russia’s far east on Thursday, killing all on board, Russian emergency services officials said.
The local emergency services said the plane, operated by the Siberian-based Angara airline, disappeared from radar screens while en route to its destination in Tynda, a city in the Amur region bordering China.
Investigations of the plane crash are underway says the Governor of the region.
