At least 50 Africans sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia.

Dozens of people from the Horn of Africa on death row in Saudi Arabia, all from Ethiopia and Somalia and were convicted of drug trafficking offences, a crime punishable by death in Saudi Arabia.

They are being held in Najran prison near the border with Yemen, where prisoners said they were informed several weeks ago that the death sentence, usually beheading, would be carried out soon.

“They told us to say goodbye to our people,” one of the convicted men, who did not want to be named, as reported by Middle East Eye News.

“We were told the killings would start after Eid al-Adha, and now they have started.”

According to the list 43 of them are from Ethiopia and 13 from Somalia.

Last month, at least six people have been killed .
