More update are emerging about the fighting between the federal government forces and Jubaland forces in Beled-Hawa where 6 soldiers have been confirmed dead , while more than 8 have been injured.
Also some civilians injured in the fight have been taken to hospitals in the city and on the Mandera border, where they are receiving treatment.
The Jubbaland administration has announced that it has fully taken control of the Beledxawo district center and overall security in the city, following heavy fighting that took place today.
The fight started earlier this morning after two helicopters landed at the UK military base this morning, carrying a delegation led by Abdirashid Janan who was recently appointed as the Commander of NISA in Jubbaland and Head of General Security in Gedo Region , accompanied by officers and soldiers.
The situation in Beled Hawa is now said to be stable, although residents still fear the possibility of further fighting.
