Pakistani police said at least 24 people died in an explosion at a railway station in the Balochistan region of Pakistan.

Dozens of other people were injured in the explosion, which occurred when a train was leaving early in the morning from Quetta station in southwest Pakistan, and was heading to Peshawar.

A group of militants called the Balochistan Liberation Army, said that they carried out the explosion and the police consider it to be a suicide attack.

Recently, the region has seen a lot of attacks on people who are behind the ideas of independence and the control of local resources.

The mayor of the city said that 24 people died and around 50 others were injured in the explosion,the explosion is believed to have been caused by a suicide bomber carrying 6-8 kilos of explosives .
