At least 16 Pakistani soldiers have been killed, 29 people injured, including 10 soldiers and 19 civilians in a suicide attack claimed by the Pakistani Taliban, Pakistani Taliban, local government and police officials told AFP.
“A suicide bomber rammed a vehicle packed with explosives into a military convoy.”said official from the North Waziristan tribal district, in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
A police official told AFP that the blast also collapsed the roofs of two houses, injuring six children.
The attack was claimed by the suicide wing of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur militant group, which is affiliated .with the Pakistani Taliban, AFP reported.
