On Friday the Sudanese Emergency Response Force (RSF) killed 124 people, mostly civilians as confirmed by sources in Sudan .

This attack took place in a village in the Al Jazira region, and was described as one of the bloodiest events since the start of the civil war in Sudan for the past 18 months.

The island has already been a victim of frequent killings, looting and displacement of hundreds of thousands of people, which were blamed on the RSF.

The Wad Madani Resistance Committee, which supports pro-democracy groups in Sudan, said that the worst attack in the Jazeera region took place on Friday in the village of Al-Sireha in the north of the region, where 124 people were killed and 100 more injury.

However, RSF has not yet commented on the allegations. This group has taken control of most of Sudan and is still at war with the Sudanese military.
