A gas explosion at a coal mine in South Khorasan Province in Iran has killed atleast 30 and injured 17 others , according to the country’s television.
Also another 24 workers remain missing.
The blast was caused by a methane gas explosion ,occured in two sections operated by madanjoo company and also a number of 69 miners were working in affected area , according to the state media.
“Seventeen injured people were taken to the hospital, and twenty-four people are still missing,” the television quoted the head of the Red Crescent in Iran.
Also President Masoud Pezeshkian send his condolences to the victims families.
