Jubaland President Ahmed Madobe departed Kismayo airport this morning, heading for Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

The president will hold meetings in Nairobi with Western ambassadors and members of the Kenyan government to discuss the situation in the country and the ongoing election turmoil.

He will also receive former officials who have held positions in the country and MPs who oppose the way Hassan and Hamze are governing.

Other reports indicate that President Ahmed Madobe is likely to move from Nairobi to the United Arab Emirates, where he has not been on good terms with Villa Somalia in recent times.
