Rebel militia that took over Golis company headquarters in Burtinle district of Nugal region late last night and cut the internet cables between Nugal and Mudug regions.
The reports say that the action caused the Internet line of the Golis company to be down for many hours in districts such as Burtinle, Galkayo, Xarfo, Galdogob and Bursalax.
It was recently when the militias took over the high school in Burtinle district, after some of the community in the district rejected the principal appointed by the Puntland Ministry of Education.
It is not the first time that Puntland telecommunications companies have been targeted, but they have been attacked by militias several times, which causes problems for the people of Puntland who rely heavily on telecommunications companies.
