The meeting between Puntland and Jubbaland has been finally concluded in Garowe, the capital of Puntland, on the current situation in the country.
In a joint statement issued by Deni and Ahmed Madobe, they stated that they will implement their own constitution until the federal and regional state constitutions are unified.
“While the constitutions of the two levels are being unified, the member states of the Federal Government will operate under their own constitutions,” they said in their statement.
They also accused the Somali President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, of abusing power while calling on him to respect the constitution.
