A mortar attack was carried out this morning at the Halane camp in Mogadishu, according to local residents.
Several mortars fired from outside the camp hit the camp, with up to 4 mortars reportedly hitting the area.
Witnesses reported that the mortars hit several different locations.
Also, two of the explosions, the location of which has not yet been confirmed, are believed to have occurred in Wadajir district, specifically in the airport area, and no casualties have been reported so far.
Al-Shabaab has carried out several such attacks inside the Halane camp.
Halane is a military camp that houses important facilities, such as embassies, international organizations, and security forces of the African Union peacekeeping force AUSSOM.
