Speaker of the House Bans Certain MPs from Parliamentary Sessions Due to Security Concerns

The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia has officially barred several Members of Parliament from attending parliamentary sessions, citing security-related concerns.

In addition, the Speaker has requested the Committee on Rules, Ethics, and Immunities to provide appropriate recommendations and legal measures in accordance with the parliamentary rules of procedure.

This move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen internal security and ensure the smooth operation of legislative processes. RNN Somali TV will continue to closely monitor further actions taken by the relevant parliamentary bodies.
