Russian President’s Special Envoy and Deputy Foreign Minister Arrives in Mogadishu

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, who also serves as the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov, arrived today in Mogadishu, Somalia.

Upon his arrival at Aden Adde International Airport, Bogdanov was warmly received by Somalia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mahmoud Mursal.

Bogdanov’s visit is expected to focus on strengthening diplomatic relations between Somalia and Russia, enhancing economic cooperation, and discussing regional stability issues.

Officials from both sides are scheduled to hold formal talks aimed at advancing bilateral relations and expanding collaboration in various sectors.
