Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Israel is seeking to create a “massive conflict” and strongly condemned Israel’s bombing of Lebanon.
“The West has been urging Iran not to respond in order not to jeopardize the ceasefire efforts in Gaza,” added Pezeshkian. He continued: “They told us we were on the brink of peace, maybe a week or so. But we never got there.”
On the other hand, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran warned Israel of the “bad consequences” of the attack on Lebanon.
