An Indian warship captured an armed gunman an hour ago who recently hijacked a Yemeni fishing boat off the coast of Eyl district in Nugal region.
Intelligence sources confirm that an Indian warship has recently captured 8 armed men who hijacked a fishing boat on the coast of Eyl district in Nugal region.
The captured gunmen, who are all from Puntland, attacked a fishing boat belonging to India early this morning outside the waters of Somalia, which called for emergency assistance and a warship arrived.
The reports say that the captured gunmen attacked the boat a few days ago but they were arrested and released from the fishing boat which is now in the hands of the Indian army.
