A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Yalchin Refiye arrived in Mogadishu today.
The delegation was welcomed at the airport in Mogadishu by the Minister of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia, Ali Balcad.
The purpose of the delegation of Azerbaijan is not known for sure, but it is expected that they will have meetings with the country’s top leaders and the country’s ambassador to Somalia, according to sources.
The Officials from Azerbaijan, when they meet with the leaders of the Federal Government of Somalia, they will convey their message from President of that country, Ilham Aliyev.
