The Puntland security agencies which have started an operation to destroy the financial resources of the Daesh group are said to have closed dozens of financial accounts used by the terrorists.
Security sources confirmed that the Puntland government has launched an intelligence operation targeting the financial system of Daesh, in order to cripple the financial resources of the group.
Reports say that the Puntland Security Branch has removed tens of financial accounts used by the ISIS Terrorist group, and the funds were paid before their accounts were closed.
Also, since the beginning of the military operation in the mountains of Calmikaad, it is said that the money that Daesh used to take from the businessmen of Bosaso has disappeared, after the military burden has been removed from all sides.
